Welcome to OnlyDeaf! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OnlyDeaf mobile application and services designed for the Deaf community. By using our app, you agree to these Terms.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account and using OnlyDeaf, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

• You will comply with all applicable laws

• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

• You understand and accept our Privacy Policy

2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY

Account Creation:

• You must provide accurate and current information

• One account per person is permitted

• You are responsible for maintaining account security

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Profile Guidelines:

• Use recent, authentic photos of yourself

• Provide honest information about yourself

• Respect the Deaf community and culture

• Do not impersonate others or create fake profiles

Video Verification Requirement:

• You must submit an intro video within 72 hours of registration

• Videos are reviewed by admins for safety and authenticity

• Failure to submit video within the grace period results in limited app access

• Videos help ensure a safe and genuine community

3. ONLYDEAF PLUS SUBSCRIPTION

Subscription Details:

• Product Name: OnlyDeaf Plus Monthly Subscription

• Duration: 1 month (30 days)

• Price: $19.99 USD per month

• Auto-renewal: Automatically renews unless cancelled

Plus Features Include:

• Unlimited daily likes (free users limited to 20)

• 6 super likes per day

• Verified profile badge

• Priority matching algorithm

• See who liked your profile

• Advanced privacy controls

Billing and Cancellation:

• Payment charged to your Apple ID account

• Subscription auto-renews unless cancelled 24 hours before current period ends

• Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings

• No refunds policy: No refunds for partial subscription periods or after purchase

• All sales are final through Apple App Store

• Access to Plus features continues until subscription expires

4. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES AND CONDUCT

Respect for Deaf Culture:

• Embrace and respect Deaf identity and culture

• Support ASL and visual communication

• Be inclusive of all communication preferences

• Understand and respect Deaf community values

Prohibited Behavior:

• Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination

• Sharing inappropriate or explicit content

• Spam, commercial solicitation, or fraud

• Impersonation or false representation

• Bullying or intimidating behavior

• Sharing private information without consent

5. CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Your Content:

• You retain ownership of content you upload

• You grant us license to use your content within the app

• You are responsible for content you share

• Do not upload copyrighted material without permission

Our Content:

• OnlyDeaf app and features are our intellectual property

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content

• Our trademarks and logos are protected

• App design and functionality are proprietary

6. SAFETY AND REPORTING

Your Safety:

• Meet in public places for first dates

• Trust your instincts and report suspicious behavior

• Use the app's built-in communication tools initially

• Never share financial information

Reporting System:

• Report inappropriate behavior immediately

• We investigate all reports promptly

• Violators may be warned, suspended, or banned

• We cooperate with law enforcement when necessary

7. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

• Your privacy is important to us

• We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy

• You control your privacy settings and data sharing

• We implement security measures to protect your information

• You can request data deletion or modification

• We comply with applicable privacy laws

8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND MODIFICATIONS

• OnlyDeaf is provided "as is" without warranties

• We may modify or discontinue features with notice

• Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance

• We are not liable for service interruptions

• Features may vary by device or location

• We reserve the right to update these Terms

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• OnlyDeaf is not responsible for user interactions or meetings

• We do not screen users beyond basic verification

• You use the service at your own risk

• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages

• Maximum liability limited to subscription fees paid

10. TERMINATION

Your Rights:

• You may delete your account at any time

• Subscription cancellation does not delete your account

• Data deletion available upon request

Our Rights:

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations

• We may discontinue the service with notice

• Termination does not affect payment obligations

• Some provisions survive account termination

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration

• Arbitration will be conducted in English

• ASL interpretation available upon request

• Class action lawsuits are waived

• Governing law: United States

• Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes
