6. CREATOR PROGRAM

Eligibility Requirements:
- Social Premium subscription required
- Minimum 100 premium followers
- Application approval required

Creator Tiers:
- Creator: 1.0x view multiplier
- Star Creator: 500+ premium followers + 500K views/mo = 1.5x multiplier

Revenue Sharing:
- Monthly revenue pool: 20% of net subscription revenue
- Pool split by weighted views among all creators
- Minimum payout threshold may apply
- Payouts processed monthly

View Tracking Rules:
- Only premium viewer views count
- Minimum 3-second watch time required
- Maximum 3 views per user per content
- Self-views and repost views do not count

Creator Subscriptions:
- Creators may offer subscriptions ($2.99, $4.99, or $9.99/month)
- Revenue split: 70% creator / 30% platform
- Managed through RevenueCat

7. MARKETPLACE TERMS

Vendor Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must verify identity (INFORM Act compliance)
- Must comply with all applicable consumer protection laws

Platform Role:
- OnlyDeaf acts as intermediary only
- We are not a party to vendor-buyer transactions
- Vendors are solely responsible for products, shipping, and refunds

Prohibited Products:
- Weapons and ammunition
- Controlled substances and drugs
- Counterfeit or stolen goods
- Adult content or services
- Any illegal products

Transaction Disputes:
- Resolve directly with vendor first
- Platform may mediate but is not liable
- Full marketplace policies apply to all transactions

8. EVENTS TERMS

Event Hosts:
- Must be 18 years or older for paid events
- Solely responsible for event execution
- Must provide full refund if event is canceled
- Must disclose material changes that may warrant refunds

Platform Role:
- Facilitates event discovery and RSVPs
- Not responsible for event execution or safety
- Not liable for any incidents at events

Attendee Responsibilities:
- Attend at your own risk
- Follow event host rules
- Report safety concerns

Deaf-Accessible Features:
- Hosts can indicate interpreter availability
- Captioning options can be specified
- Deaf space accommodations

9. AUTOMATED CONTENT (NEWS BOTS)

News Bot Accounts:
- Clearly marked as automated accounts
- Post content sourced from external platforms (Twitter/X, etc.)
- Provide curated news relevant to the deaf community

Disclosure:
- Bot content is adapted from public sources
- OnlyDeaf does not claim ownership of source content
- Original sources are attributed where applicable

10. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

AI Features:
- Profile summaries are AI-generated
- Trending summaries are AI-generated
- Content may be auto-tagged by AI
- Algorithm insights are AI-generated

Disclosure:
- AI-generated content is for informational purposes
- AI summaries may not be 100% accurate
- Users should verify important information

11. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

All users must follow our Community Guidelines, which prohibit:
- Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination
- NSFW or explicit content
- Spam, commercial solicitation, or fraud
- Impersonation or false representation
- Bullying or intimidating behavior
- Sharing private information without consent
- Copyright infringement

Strike System:
- 1-2 violations: Warning
- 3rd violation: 24-hour suspension
- 4th violation: 7-day suspension
- 5th+ violations: Permanent ban

Full Community Guidelines are available in the app and must be reviewed by all users.

12. CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Your Content:
- You retain ownership of content you create
- You grant OnlyDeaf a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display your content
- License ends when you delete content
- We do NOT sell your content to third parties
- Content shared by others (reposts) may remain visible after deletion

Our Content:
- OnlyDeaf app and features are our intellectual property
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content
- Our trademarks and logos are protected
- App design and functionality are proprietary

Copyright Violations:
- We respond to DMCA takedown notices
- 3 copyright strikes = account removal
- Counter-notice process available

13. SAFETY AND REPORTING

Your Safety:
- Meet in public places for first in-person meetings
- Trust your instincts and report suspicious behavior
- Use the app’s built-in communication tools initially
- Never share financial information

Reporting System:
- Report inappropriate content or behavior immediately
- Block users who violate guidelines
- We investigate all reports promptly
- Violators may be warned, suspended, or banned
- We cooperate with law enforcement when necessary

14. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

- Your privacy is important to us
- We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy
- You control your privacy settings and data sharing
- We implement security measures to protect your information
- You can request data deletion in-app (no email required)
- We comply with applicable privacy laws (CCPA, etc.)

15. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND MODIFICATIONS

- OnlyDeaf is provided “as is” without warranties
- We may modify or discontinue features with notice
- Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance
- We are not liable for service interruptions
- Features may vary by device or location
- We reserve the right to update these Terms

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

- OnlyDeaf is not responsible for user interactions or meetings
- We do not screen users beyond basic verification
- You use the service at your own risk
- Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Maximum liability limited to amount paid in past 12 months or $100, whichever is greater
- We are not liable for third-party actions, marketplace transactions, or event incidents

17. TERMINATION

Your Rights:
- You may delete your account at any time (in-app)
- Subscription cancellation does not delete your account
- Data deletion completed within 30 days
- Creator earnings paid out before account closure

Our Rights:
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- Zero tolerance for exploitation or severe harassment
- We may discontinue the service with notice
- Termination does not affect payment obligations
- Some provisions survive account termination

Appeal Process:
- Users may appeal wrongful termination
- Appeals reviewed within 7 business days

18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

- Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
- Arbitration will be conducted in English
- ASL interpretation available upon request
- Class action lawsuits are waived

OnlyDeaf is built by and for the deaf/HoH community:
- We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance
- Captions required on all user-uploaded videos
- ASL interpretation available for support
- Visual-first design throughout the app
